Robert Owens

Robert Owens recently retired after a (29) year career in law enforcement, most recently working as the Assistant Division Commander with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
Prior, Robert served in many capacities with Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Bureau of Law Enforcement (VA ABC) as well as with the Fredericksburg Police Department. Since 1993 he has been an experienced instructor with all law enforcement agencies he has served with. He holds an A.A.S. degree in Computer Science and studied Criminal Justice at Bluefield College.
Robert’s extensive background in law enforcement, including criminal and administrative experience in the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act permits him to educate others regarding laws, rules and regulations concerning the sale and service of alcoholic beverages while doing so in a responsible manner. The ultimate objective is to provide effective training and knowledge beneficial to the client on such topics as preventing underage drinking and deterring intoxication amongst customers.
